High performance with the simplicity you asked for.

The GS series model line is HeatMaster's
answer for an efficient, clean burning, high performance
wood burning furnace. For years we have waited for a
ultra efficient downdraft unit with simpler features and lower cost.
HeatMaster listened and delivered.

Features you'll appreciate:

  • Down-draft burning with ceramic refractory reburn, reaches temperatures over 2,000* F. The most reliable way to burn efficient and clean.

  • All 409 stainless steel firebox, water jacket and exhaust path completely eliminates the possibility of corrosion from sweating and condensation. Some brands use a mild steel water jacket and still promote themselves as stainless.

  • Vertical heat exchange tubes with EZ Clean shaker handles to shake the spirals. Some brands require manual scraping with a poker. A clean exhaust equals higher efficiency so why not make it easy?

  • Removable stainless air channels burn off creosote inside the firebox.

  • Warning Lights to alert for over temp, low temp, and low water.

  • High visibility water level float. See the water level from a distance.

  • Roomy insulated rear cabinet for plumbing with large swinging rear door.

  • Easy Loading Firebox. Firebox is designed so the wood burns evenly and maintains a hot coal bed.

  • Maintenance- less than most conventional units. Ash falls from the exhaust tubes and total ash is a fraction of older updraft units.

  • Clean and efficient burn. Surpasses EPA emissions standards by 75%. Your neighbor may never know you burn wood.

  • Efficiency is identical to the G series model line. 1/3 to 1/2 the wood of a conventional furnace.
